Sundance Golden Queen Isabella & Sundance Morning Skyy Lexus
Our dogs are raised in a family environment with kids, cats, etc. nestled in the Lehigh Valley in lovely Allentown, PA. Our females were hand-picked from a quality breeder in VA who got her dogs directly from Thailand. They are well-socialized and are great family members, which I feel is most important. We strive to improve the TRD bloodline so our breeding is selective .
Bella is our Isabella fawn female who is really sweet and loving. She doesn't realize that she is a little big to be a lap dog! She has basic obedience and agility training and will attend Therapy Dog training in the future. She had her first litter of puppies in 2008 - 9 in all and gave us a surprise litter of 11 fawn puppies in 2009.
Lexi's velvety blue coat is super soft and everyone's favorite. She gave us 7 beautiful blue puppies in 2009 and 7 more beautiful blue puppies in 2011. She has also had basic obedience and will have agility training in the future.
Our newest addition is Sonny. He is a fawn male that came to us from Thailand in Jan 2009. Visit our photo gallery to see how gorgeous he is. We are excited to see the beautiful puppies yet to come from these great dogs.
The Thai Ridgeback Dog is a regal, intelligent and beautiful animal and we are constantly getting stopped and asked “What kind of dog is that?” As wonderful as they are, they are not for the faint of heart. They require an experienced dog owner. A puppy from me will come to you well socialized and handled daily. My children play with the dogs daily and the puppies will receive twice as much love since they will be the main attraction when they arrive. Once you take your puppy home, you will need to continue the socialization process in order to have a happy, well balanced dog.
Here are some TRD health related issues you may run into: kid acne (guaranteed but temporary), sensitive skin, allergies, bug bite infections, dermoid sinus cyst, and rarely, hip dysplasia. With a good quality food and keeping them out of certain situations most of the skin problems can be avoided all together. The shorter the hair the more skin/hair related issues you may run into. I supplement with Folic Acid daily during the first trimester of pregnancy to hopefully eliminate any chance of the dermoid sinus cyst. Please browse the rest of my site for additional information and great pictures.
